Documents Required at Checkout
UK law requires us to verify ownership or entitlement before producing any number plate. You must provide one of the accepted documents below - without it, your order cannot be processed.
Accepted Documents
One of the following must be provided with every order. We recommend the V5C for the fastest processing.
Vehicle Registration Certificate

The main ownership document for your vehicle - the fastest way to get your order verified and approved.
New Keeper Supplement
V5C/2 / V5C/2NI
The green slip from the V5C, used when you've recently purchased the vehicle.
Certificate of Entitlement
V750 / V750NI
Confirms your right to assign an unregistered number to a vehicle.
Retention Document
V778
Used when a personalised number has been taken off a vehicle and retained.
Vehicle Tax or SORN Renewal Reminder
V11 / V11NI
The renewal reminder issued by DVLA - confirms vehicle is registered in your name.
Temporary Registration Certificate
V379 / V379NI
A temporary document issued when a full V5C has not yet been received.
Number Plate Authorisation Certificate
V948
Must carry an official stamp from the DVLA or DVSA to be accepted.
Electronic Number Plate Authorisation Certificate
eV948
The digital equivalent of the V948 - accepted in electronic format.
Fleet Operator Letter of Authorisation
From a lease or hire company - must quote the document reference number from the vehicle's registration certificate.
V5C On Demand - Vehicle Details PDF
For fleets on the V5C suppression scheme - a PDF from the DVLA's 'view vehicle record' service is accepted.

No Document = No Sale
We are legally required to hold proof of entitlement before producing any number plate. Orders that are not backed by a valid document within a reasonable time will be cancelled and refunded in full.
